Ansleigh was just fussing. I went to check on her and decided, just for kicks, to see what all was in her bed. This is what I found:
- Big stuffed bear--Bo
- smalled stuffed fish, Nemo-like
- stuffed monkey
- stuffed tiger
- stuffed bunny rabbit
- very small stuffed "baby" rattle
- cabbage patch baby
- not one, but TWO blankets
- a teething ring
- two pacifiers
- a sippy cup
- a small princess board book
Wowza. We are like the poster parents for what not to do. Hahaha.
We joke about all the stuff in her bed. When we take stuff out, she finds a way to get it back in there. Seriously. Doubt me if you wish, but it is true. She's been sleeping with a blanket since her second night home. For a while, she had a pillow in there with her (secured, of course) due to acid reflux. Periodically, we clean her bed out and only leave a few things, but over time, she acquires more. It is a vicious cycle.
Just thought I'd share so mothers everywhere can cringe. :)

We still have our bumper in Miller's crib...Miller has also slept with a blanket since day one. He still likes to cuddle with it.
Just wanted to let you know you are not the only one.
