Busy Times!

This week has been a CRAZY week for us! Anthony has been fighting some kind of sickness all week and this week is cheerleader tryouts at Central Middle School.
Why would that matter? Because I'm one of the new coaches at Central! :o) That's right...Mommy has a job.

Anyway, it has been madness around here this week. We've hardly been at the house this week, especially all at the same time! Ansleigh went to her first cheerleader practice last night and I was super proud of how well she did. She didn't fuss at all! She just laid on her quilt and watched the girls cheer. She even took a nap!

The exhaustion finally showed itself today when Ansleigh and I both slept in! As some of you know, I don't get up until Ansleigh does. Today, kid totally impressed me and slept until 11!!!! She was a tired girl and so was mommy! It was wonderful to get to sleep so late.

So when does the madness end?

Officially, tomorrow is the last day of tryouts, so the busy nights will end then, but the busy days will continue. We've been doing our "spring cleaning", finding a home for all the stuff that never got unpacked, putting all the junk from the garage into the attic, cleaning the sun room, baby-proofing for when little one gets mobile, etc. We got a lot done last weekend, but still have more on the schedule. We're trying to get it all done before May 16.
What is May 16? Chad, Rachel, Turner, and Anna Cate are coming to stay with us for a few days before their Disney trip!!!!!!! We are so excited about them coming and while they are here, we plan on taking Ansleigh to Disney one day. :o)
