No Rest for the Weary!

So I know the "new mom" thing is exhausting all in itself, but last night/today has definitely been a doosy!

Sweet baby Ansleigh decided she wanted to stay up and party last night....until 4:30 AM!!! She had hardly slept yesterday so this sort of surprised me. Since Anthony has gone back to day shift (Praise the Lord!), he's been feeding her before he leaves letting me get just a little bit more rest. Somehow this morning, he slept late on accident. Ansleigh woke me up at 7:20 (10 minutes before Anthony leaves) and I realized he was still beside me asleep. Oh no! So I got up and feed and changed Ansleigh while he got ready for work thinking surely she will go right back to sleep. That would have been too easy!

Sweet baby didn't go back to sleep until 2:00 this afternoon! I missed my Bible Study :o(. Tommy and Dyan/Papa and Nana are coming to visit this weekend (Yay!!!!!) which means I have so much to get done in my house. Once little bit fell asleep in her swing, it was on to washing bottles, vacuuming, dusting, washing sheets, sweeping and mopping, and hopefully I'll get in some baby laundry today!

I feel like I'm in college again running off no sleep and doing a million things (although then it was by choice, not necessity). I'm not looking for any sympathy, just wanted to give a glimpse into the madness us Friday's call life :o) and to let sweet Lacey Updegraff see what her future holds!
